Hello,
Hello, my name is Corina Quintero. I am an immigration paralegal with more than 15 years of experience, and I am passionate about helping families navigate their immigration journey with compassion, honesty, and care.
As the daughter of immigrants and someone who has personally lived through immigration and adoption processes within my own family, I understand how emotional and important these moments can be. My goal is to make every family feel supported, respected, and never alone in the process.
My Story
"El respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz." — Benito Juárez
There is a Spanish phrase that Corina Quintero has carried in her heart for as long as she can remember: "El respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz." — The respect for the rights of others is peace. It was spoken by Benito Juárez more than a century ago, but for Corina, it is not just a quote. It is a way of life. It is the promise she makes to every family who trusts her with their immigration journey.
For Corina, immigration is not a profession. It is her story, her family, and her heart.
Corina earned her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Southwestern College, where her dedication, discipline, and academic excellence earned her a place on the prestigious Principal's Honors List — a recognition reserved for students who pursue their studies with the highest level of commitment. But the truth is, her real education began long before any classroom. With more than 15 years of experience serving immigrant families, Corina has built a career rooted not only in legal knowledge, but in something far more powerful: lived experience.
Her story begins in Mexicali, Baja California, where she spent her childhood surrounded by her Mexican roots — the food, the language, the laughter, the warmth of family — even though she was born in the United States. At the age of 13, her family made the decision that would change everything: they crossed the border and made Chula Vista their home. From the moment she stepped into a new country, Corina understood what so many of her clients now feel — what it means to start over, to learn a new way of life, and to watch the people you love work harder than anyone should ever have to, all for the hope of a better future.
Her family's story is the heartbeat of who she is today. Her father earned his residency through years of work in the fields — work that left his hands tired but his dignity intact. Years later, when he became a United States citizen, he opened the door for Corina's mother and siblings to complete their immigration journey through adjustment of status. Corina watched it all unfold — the sacrifice, the uncertainty, the long nights, the prayers, the tears of fear, and the tears of joy. She knows what it feels like to wait for a piece of paper that holds your entire family's future in its hands.
But her connection to the immigration journey doesn't end there. Corina is the proud mother of three children, including her adopted son — a little boy whose path to her family stretched across borders, paperwork, and years of patient love. She personally walked through the long, complex adoption process in Mexico and then guided her son's journey all the way to United States citizenship. That experience taught her something no textbook ever could: how it feels when your child's future depends on a legal process. How it feels to wake up every morning hoping today is the day. How it feels to never give up — because love simply doesn't allow it.
This is the heart Corina brings to every family who walks through our doors.
To her, clients are never paperwork. They are mothers and fathers fighting to keep their family together. They are children dreaming in two languages. They are spouses praying for one more chance. They are human beings — full of stories, sacrifices, and hopes — and they deserve to be treated with the same respect, dignity, and care that her own family deserved when they were walking the same road.
That is why Corina works the way she does — with patience, honesty, attention to detail, and a deep, personal commitment to every case. She listens. She remembers names. She returns calls. She explains every step in the language her clients understand best — English or Spanish, with the same warmth in both. And she never forgets that on the other side of every petition is a family praying for peace.
Because for Corina, that is what this work has always been about:
Justice. Dignity. Family. And the quiet, powerful peace that comes from knowing someone is fighting for you.
"El respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz."
If you are looking for someone who will treat your family like her own — Corina is ready to walk beside you, every step of the way.
